Labour Test for Korean Language
On 12th, April in 2009 it was a Korean language test for East Timor Labour as much as 1300 peoples who will work in Korea.
The Korean Ambassador for Timor-Leste Kim Soo said to the journalist in press conference in Dili.
Kim Soo Ⅱ said, around 1300 labours will have the test for Korean language and medical test. After the test, the essential number of the labours to work in Korea is only 800 labours.
Therefore for those who pass both language and medical test will flight to Korea on March.
Regarding to the Ambassador there are a lot of company but still not be informed which company the labours will work at. Therefore, the Government through the State Secretary professional works and employee attempt in collaborates with the company in Korea after the test.
For the labours who pass the test the Government will send the short listed candidates through the Public Ministry for companies which are in Korea.
The intern State secretary Miguel Manetelo declared, for those labours that will work in Korea should have to learn the Korean language within the resting that hold up on 12th April this year.
Therefore the Government effort to cooperate with the Korea Ministry of Public Service sending the Timor-Leste labours to work in Korea.
Based on the information that has gained around 15th labours was work at the Korea Company including Timor-Leste.
On the other hand, the Director of National Public Service Jose Maria affirmed, the State Secretary will out the laboratation in Korea as reason as marketing arrangement for Timor-Leste product.
“as far as we concern that a lot of businessman in Korea Ministry of Public Service was looking for foreign product,” Jose said.
In 2006 Timor-Leste was successful send around twenty Labours to work at the same enterprise.

지난 4월 12일, 동티모르의 전 국가적 휴일 행사 중 하나인 부활절에 딜리 내의 두 개 학교에서 한국산업인력공단이 주최하는 한국어 능력시험이 진행되었습니다. 동티모르에서 처음 이루어지는 시험인 만큼 그 지원자수와 응시율을 주시하게 되는데요, 최종 지원자는 976여명으로 집계되었고, 공휴일 행사로 인해 시험 응시율은 저조할 것이라는 우려의 말도 있었습니다. 하지만, 실제로 당일 참석자는 단 일곱 명의 포기 자를 제외한 969명이 시험을 치렀을 만큼 이번 시험이 그들에게 의미하는 것이 그만큼 크다는 것을 보여준 것은 아닐까요.
시험을 치른 지 이 주일이 지났을 때, 현지 친구로부터 543명이 한국어 시험을 통과했고, 신체검사를 통과하게 된다면 한국으로 떠난다는 뉴스를 듣게 되었습니다. 이들의 출국 일은 2010년 3월 중으로 기획되어 있습니다.
