Ministers of State check progress at Ratchapruek Royal Flora

Thai cabinet ministers and the head of the Chart Thai Party made a brief visit to Chiang Mai on October 20 to check on the progress of the upcoming Royal Flora Exhibition to be held as part of the Birthday celebrations for His Majesty the King on December 5.



Coalition Chart Thai Party leader Banyan Silapa-archa, Somsak Prisanananthakul, the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Weerasak Kowwasurat, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, were briefed by Royal Ratchapruek Garden’s management on the use of the land and management procedures as well as the progress of construction of the International Exhibition and Conference Hall.



All three stated that, in their opinion, the work was progressing satisfactorily, and was expected to be finished on time. The gardening contractors are planning to show 700,000 trees and plants, of which number approximately 130,000 have been planted so far. Refurbishment of the site and its buildings is also well under way, and expected to be completed by the time of the official opening.


It is expected that total tourist revenue from the exhibition will top 1,000 million baht.

Chart Thai 당의 각료들과 대표가 지난 10 20 치앙마이를 방문했다.  그들은 이번 방문에서 오는 12 5 국왕의 생일을 기념하여 열리는 왕실 식물 박람회진행 상황을 점검했다.


이번 ‘Royal Ratchapruek Garden’ 설립 경영진은 토지 사용처와 진행 경과를 Coalition Chart Thai당의 Banyan Silapa-archa 대표, Somsak Prisanananthakul 농림부 장관과 Weerasak Kowwasurat 관광부 장관에게 보고했다. 


대표들은 이번 공사가 만족스럽게 진행되고 있으며 예정대로 마무리를 지을 것이라고 전했다. 또한 나무 배급을 담당한 관리자는 계획 700,000 그루의 나무 130,000 그루는 심어졌다고 전했다. 개장 일에 맞추어 모든 과정이 원활하게 진척되고 있다.  


이번 전시의 관광 수입은 최대 10억 바트로 기대된다.
